The Robert K. Chalmers Distinguished Pharmacy Educator Award recognizes an individual’s excellence in pharmacy education and consists of an inscribed Steuben Owl and a $12,500 prize. The award is named for the late Robert K. Chalmers, former AACP president and distinguished educator and recognizes excellence in pharmacy education.
Any AACP member may submit nominations for this award by completing the online submission form no later than Dec. 1, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. PST, identified with the appropriate award title. Please contact Melinda D. Colón, assistant director of governance programs and meetings, with any questions.
The award winners will be announced by the AACP Board of Directors in a spring 2012 issue of Academic Pharmacy Now and on the Web site. They will also be honored during the 2012 Annual Meeting in Kissimmee, Florida.
