Continuing Education Deadline Reminder

Annual Meeting attendees have until Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 5:00 p.m. EDT to receive continuing education (CE) credits by going to the Learning Management System. The LMS will allow you to complete your evaluations, print your statements of credit and maintain a transcript of the continuing education you completed during the meeting. If you have questions regarding your CE, including access code inquiries, please contact the VCU School of Pharmacy at 804-828-3003.  

2012 House of Delegates Minutes Now Available

The minutes from the 2012 House of Delegates session, reflecting business conducted at the 2012 AACP Annual Meeting, are now available on the AACP Web site.

Submit New Investigator Award Applications

The AACP New Investigator Program will award up to 18 research seed grants with a maximum of $10,000 to individual faculty members starting their academic careers at U.S. pharmacy schools. Applicants who have submitted a Letter of Intent may now upload their application. For more details and application materials, visit the AACP Web site. Applications are due Sept. 17.

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) announces the Second-Generation Antidepressants in the Pharmacologic Treatment of Adult Depression: An Update of the 2007 Comparative Effectiveness Review. Accompanying the review is a new set of resources, including a patient summary, a clinician research summary, and a CME/CE activity for clinicians who wish to receive continuing education credits.
