Partner Organizations

APhA/NABP
The Center for Pharmacy Practice Accreditation, a joint partnership between the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) and the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP), is developing an accreditation program for community pharmacy practice. Draft community pharmacy practice standards will be available for a 6-week public comment period starting July 1 on the APhA Web site. An open forum to discuss the draft standards will be held on Tuesday, July 17, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. at the AACP Annual Meeting. As community practice is an important component of experiential training for student pharmacists, feedback from the academic sector is a critical component in the development process.
