AACP has extended the Pharm4Me Innovation
Challenge deadline to April 1, 2018! Encourage your student pharmacists to partner with local high school students for this competition, and jointly identify innovative solutions to medication or health-related problems in their communities.
The United States Public Health Service and IPEC are seeking applications for the
Public Health Excellence in Interprofessional Education Collaboration Award. The award presents an opportunity to showcase multidisciplinary efforts to impact community health. Applications are due Friday, Feb. 2.
IPEC is hosting a free webinar on Thursday, Dec. 7, at 2:00 p.m. ET featuring a presentation with Health Professions Accreditors Collaborative members. The panel will share their remarks on the history of the formation of HPAC and the future of IPE accreditation, as well as the opportunities and challenges in IPE and collaborative practice.

educator or notable innovator? Nominations for the Lifetime Achievement Award, Robert K. Chalmers Distinguished Pharmacy Educator Award, Paul R. Dawson Award for Excellence in Patient Care Research and Volwiler Research Achievement Award are due Wednesday, Dec. 6, by 11:59 p.m. PT.
The AACP Master Preceptor Recognition Program seeks to nationally recognize preceptors for their commitment to excellence in experiential education and professional practice. Applications are due Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. EST.
Innovation Award for Health Care Provider Training and Education recognizes innovative health professional training programs providing nutrition and physical activity education to their students. Two awards will be given: One to those schools or programs offering innovative training for future healthcare professionals; and another to schools or programs offering innovative professional development or graduate training for current healthcare professionals.
