Continuing Education
Select educational sessions delivered during Pharmacy Education 2024 are eligible for continuing pharmacy education credit.
Meeting attendees will have up to 45 days following Pharmacy Education 2024 to complete the accredited CE activity post-assessments and evaluations. The deadline to complete the required components for continuing education credit is Friday, September 6, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
All accredited continuing education sessions are marked as such in the program schedule.
The American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
CPE credits are administered via the online AACP CE Administration platform, Learning Express CE (LECE). Meeting registrants must attend the accredited continuing education activities and complete the CE post-assessment and activity evaluation on the LECE platform. A passing score of 75% is required to obtain CPE credit.
CPE credit information will be electronically transmitted to CPE Monitor upon successful completion of the CE post-assessment and evaluation. Pharmacists should log in to their NABP e-profile to access information about their completed CPE and to print a valid statement of credit if needed.
Note: It is imperative that pharmacist attendee’s NABP e-Profile ID and birthdate (in MM/DD format) are correctly entered into their LECE profile and correspond with their NABP record. Failure to ensure this information is identical in both programs will jeopardize their earning CPE credits.
If you have questions regarding CE before or after Pharmacy Education 2024, please contact Dorothy Novilus, Associate Director of Continuing Professional Development, at 703-739-2330 ext. 1027.
AACP utilizes standard procedures for providing evidence of participation in accredited continuing education activities. Prior to completing the CE session post-assessment, participants will be asked to enter an “Access Code” to ensure they have attended sessions approved for continuing education credits. Presenters will provide the Access Code at the conclusion of their presentations.

School Posters Theme is “Strengthening Faculty and Staff Success.” Subcategories include:
- Creating cultures of value and appreciation at colleges and schools of pharmacy
- Diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism (DEIA) initiatives
- Role of technology and infrastructure to assist faculty and staff
- Professional development opportunities for faculty and staff
- Strategically adapting and managing limited resources to meet school commitments
Investing in faculty and staff success is an investment for the future of the institution. It helps ensure that faculty and staff have what they need to develop practice-ready and successful student pharmacists who are our profession's future. The 2024 School Poster Theme Subcommittee has recommended the theme be “Strengthening Faculty and Staff Success”. Colleges and schools of pharmacy will be asked to submit abstracts that meet this theme through several factors such as how are colleges and schools of pharmacy creating cultures of value and appreciation, their efforts in DEIA initiatives, technology and infrastructure changes/updates to assist faculty and staff, and professional development opportunities created for faculty and staff.
The Trainee Poster Judging Competition will take place virtually on CadmiumCD platform in June 2024. All Trainee Finalists will still be required to register for the Annual Meeting to present their posters live in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Trainee Competition Winners will be announced at the Tuesday Luncheon.
