Optimizing Opportunities to Initiate Interprofessional Collaborative Practice: Examples in Community, Inpatient and Outpatient Settings

The goal of the webinar is to review the development and implementation of innovative and successful IPP experiences across different health care settings. Participants will learn how students may be integrated into these successful IPP environments and will have the opportunity to engage the speakers in the Q&A within the session. 

Objectives:

  • Explain how the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) 2016 core competencies align with examples in an ambulatory setting, community pharmacy practice and an intensive care unit.
  • Identify potential opportunities and challenges that may arise when building an IPP. 
  • Demonstrate approaches and strategies to incorporate learners in IPP in the select settings.
  • Describe a process for implementing an interprofessional practice (IPP) in the select settings.
