Drs. Hagemeier and Fleming, leading experts in substance use disorder research within academic pharmacy, will share insights regarding the engagement of learners in their work. This will include strategies for integrating PharmD students as well as development of PhD and fellowship programs. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Ventricelli, a successful graduate of one of these programs.

Objectives:

  • Identify strategies for engaging PharmD students in SUD research
  • Describe the development of PhD and fellowship programs in SUD research
  • Plan for implementation of these strategies and programs
