AACP's Meeting & Event Entry Policy

Revised 12/1/2022

Effective December 1, 2022, AACP will no longer require proof of vaccination status or a negative test result to attend any AACP in-person meetings or events.

Instead, AACP expects attendees to take responsibility themselves for following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on measures to reduce infection from COVID-19 and to protect against severe complications.  AACP urges all members to follow the CDC’s recommendation that everyone over age 12 receive the updated bivalent vaccine as soon as they are eligible to do so (e.g., 2 months past their last shot).

Mask-wearing at AACP meetings and events remains encouraged but also not mandatory.

For more information, please review the guidelines at:
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/stay-up-to-date.html

AACP monitors the most recent guidance on vaccines provided by the CDC and will update our policy accordingly if that changes substantively. All registrants will be notified via email of any changes. AACP appreciates the understanding of its members and partners as we seek to provide valuable, timely face-to-face programming while prioritizing the health and safety of attendees and our host communities.
