AACP encourages new members to take the steps listed below to get started with their membership:
Step 1: Complete your membership profile!
AACP members can enter their preferred contact information and communication settings. In addition, members can join member groups, including Sections and SIGs via the member profile. If you need any help with the member login, please contact mail@aacp.org for assistance.
Step 2: Join Sections and Special Interest Groups via the membership profile
Joining AACP Sections and SIGs is a vital first step to getting the most out of your AACP membership and connecting with your peers with similar research and educational interests.
What Are AACP Sections and Special Interest Groups?
AACP Sections and Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are member groups based on academic disciplines and interests.

- Ask questions or seek guidance
- Post resource documents for all members
- Solicit volunteers for Section/SIG activities
- Develop and present Webinars on current topics

- Manage committees or task forces that provide recommendations on current challenges or opportunities in pharmacy education
- Volunteer opportunities to engage in Section/SIG activities
- Provide awards to recognize areas of service or achievement
- Develop white papers or other resources that address challenges in pharmacy education
