Department Chairs Connect Community Leadership Group

Headlines in the United States have highlighted the “Great Resignation” for much of 2021. Committee members will discuss whether Pharmacy Academy is impacted or has a chance of being impacted by this phenomenon. Committee should schedule webinars and/or engage on connect to listen and exchange ideas surrounding this topic. If appropriate, identify and recommend ways in which individual colleges and schools of pharmacy as well as AACP can ensure there is a sufficient workforce to meet the demands of our learners.

The community leadership group is also responsible for developing a networking session in addition to a presentation at the AACP Interim Meeting on a topic that is of special interest to the group (it can be different from the topic above if the group decides so). Members of the community leadership group can either plan and execute the presentation, or identify an appropriate speaker.

The time commitment and level of experience for this opportunity is variable.
