COVID-19 Safety at INnovate 2023

AACP is committed to providing a safe environment for attendees and staff to meet in person. In order to maintain the health and well-being of all participants at any of our future functions, the following will be mandatory.

Vaccination

AACP will require that all in-person attendees at INnovate 2023 provide proof of a full COVID-19 vaccination before they will be permitted to attend the conference. Per the CDC COVID-19 vaccination guidance, “fully vaccinated” is defined as having received all doses in the primary series. This means you are considered fully vaccinated if you have received 2 doses in the primary series of Pfizer or Moderna, or 1 dose in the primary series of Johnson and Johnson. People are best protected when they stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations, which includes getting boosters when eligible.

Registered attendees will receive a message from AACP closer to the date of the conference with the next steps needed to complete their vaccine verification. AACP will not have access to or keep records of your personal information, but will utilize privacy protecting tools to monitor any COVID symptoms that may develop for attendees. If you do experience COVID symptoms during the conference, you will be advised to stay clear of others.

AACP monitors the most recent guidance on vaccines provided by the CDC and will update our policy accordingly if that changes substantively. All registrants will be notified via email of any changes.

If you have questions about our vaccine policy, please reach out to us at meetings@aacp.org.
