Overview
The latest feature added to AAMS is a short version PDF of the Self Study, which became available in February 2020. The Short Version PDF is offered to make the self-study process easier by providing a condensed document that can be used to review the narrative portions of the self-study.
Features
- Includes all standards and their narrative sections
- Advantages over full Self Study
- Smaller and shorter size file
- New version is created every time button is clicked
- Convenient when file sharing
- Can download before submitting a self-study
- Disadvantages over full Self Study
- No documentation and data section (i.e. uploads)
- No data views/standardized tables
Accessing PDF
The Short Version PDF is available to AAMS school users with the ‘Self-Study Read’ or ‘Self-Study Write’ permission levels. To create an account and/or request the 'Self-Study Read' or 'Self-Study Write' permission level please contact your AAMS school administrator.
Your institution's ACPE administrator and ACPE Site Team Reviewer can also access the PDF after a self-study is submitted to ACPE.
To Download Short Study PDF
Once logged into your AAMS account (if you are an ACPE user please skip to the next set of instructions):
- Choose ‘AAMS’ found in the navigation bar on the left side of the screen
- Click the ‘Self Study’ tab
- On the top right corner, click ‘Print Short Version PDF’
- Since the PDF is generated each time the ‘Print Short Version PDF’ button is clicked, a new browser tab will open and the PDF will download after several seconds
To Download Short Study PDF as an ACPE User
Once logged into your AAMS account:
- Choose ‘AAMS’ found in the navigation bar on the left side of the screen
- On the ‘Programs’ page, select ‘Search’ or ‘View all’ to find a program you are assigned to review. Then, select the school
- The page will load automatically to the ‘Self Study’ tab. On the top right corner, click ‘Print Short Version PDF’
- Since the PDF is generated each time the ‘Print Short Version PDF’ button is clicked, a new browser tab will open and the PDF will download after several seconds
FAQ
Why can’t I see the ‘Self-Study’ tab in AAMS?

You may not have appropriate permissions setup for your account. Contact your school administrator to request the 'Self-Study Read' or 'Self-Study Write' permission level.
Why can’t I find any uploads or data views?

The Short Version PDF does not include any uploads or data views. The full version PDF is needed.
