Continuing Education

Select educational programs delivered at Virtual Pharmacy Education 2020 are eligible for continuing pharmacy education credit. These sessions are marked as such with their ACPE universal activity number (UAN), activity type, and the number of contact hours on the Virtual Pharmacy Education 2020 meeting agenda on Pathable. CPE sessions will be officially released on July 13 as home study activities. All registered attendees wishing to claim credit for the Virtual Pharmacy Education CPE sessions must complete the required CPE components by June 15, 2021. The Teachers Seminar will be delivered and available in two formats—live and home study. Those wishing to claim credit for their participation in the live Teachers Seminar must do so by August 4, 2020. Registered attendees who complete the recorded Teachers Seminar will be able to claim home study CPE credit through June 15, 2021. Please refer to the meeting agenda on Pathable for more information on sessions offering CPE credit.

ACPE LogoAACP is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.

How do I request CE credit for the sessions I completed?

In order to obtain CPE credit, attendees must view the educational session videos available on Pathable, and complete the session’s post-assessment and evaluation via the AACP CE management system, Learning Express CE (LECE). A passing score of 80% is required to obtain CPE credit. CPE credit information will be electronically transmitted to CPE Monitor. Pharmacists should log in to their NABP e-profile to access information about their completed CPE and to print a valid statement of credit if needed. The deadline to complete all of the required home study CPE components to obtain credit for the Virtual Pharmacy Education 2020 CE sessions is June 15, 2021. Note, it is imperative that pharmacist attendee’s NABP e-Profile ID and birthdate (in MM/DD format) are correctly entered into their LECE profile and correspond with their NABP record. Failure to ensure this information is identical in both programs will jeopardize their earning CPE credits. If you have questions regarding CE before or after the meeting, please contact Dorothy Novilus, CPD associate director, at 703-739-2330 ext. 1027.
