December 02, 2025
Noon-1:00 p.m. ET

Hosted by the Pharmacogenomics SIG

Join us for an exciting and insightful webinar with Dr. Michelle Whirl-Carrillo, who will discuss the evolution of pharmacogenomic (PGx) data resources and the transition from PharmGKB to ClinPGx.
This session will explore how ClinPGx enhances the accessibility and clinical relevance of PGx knowledge by integrating curated and annotated data on genetic variation and drug response, evidence-based recommendations from CPIC, DPWG, and the U.S. FDA, as well as clinical annotations and actionable insights to advance precision medicine and pharmacy education.

Objectives:

  • Describe the evolution of pharmacogenomic (PGx) data resources from PharmGKB to ClinPGx and their significance in advancing personalized medicine.
  • Explain how ClinPGx integrates guideline-based recommendations (e.g., CPIC, DPWG, FDA) to support evidence-based pharmacogenomic practice.
  • Apply ClinPGx tools and resources to enhance pharmacogenomics instruction, case-based learning, and clinical decision-making.
