The inclusion of student leadership development programs within the curricula at institutions of higher learning is vital to increase student knowledge and application of soft skills, enhancing their ability to become the next generation of effective leaders. A key task in the establishment of these programs is deciding where to incorporate opportunities within each institution’s curriculum. In this webinar, speakers from various institutions will discuss how they integrate an established student leadership development program within their curriculum, with a focus on longitudinal integration.

Objectives:

  1. Differentiate between the various types of curricular integration (longitudinal vs. episodic)
  2. Identify approaches for establishing an integrated longitudinal student leadership development program within a college or school of pharmacy curriculum
