This presentation will focus on the unique relationships between clinical faculty members at Colleges of Pharmacy and healthcare facilities. Examples of sustainable practice models, including shared service and reverse funding, will be discussed. The presentation will conclude with an overview of a resource guide developed by AACP entitled “Integration of Clinical Pharmacy Faculty in Professional Practice Care Settings.”

Objectives:

  • Describe sustainable practice models for pharmacy faculty
  • Explore the resources needed for each model
  • Identify challenges and strategies for success with different practice models
