Biological Sciences Section is hosting the first webinar on mentorship to discuss the overall goals, holistic approaches, best practices, tools and types of mentorship offered to the section members. Benefits of mentorship in professional development of the participating faculty will be explored with testimonials from mentee-mentors and solicited questions from the participants.

Objectives:

  1. Describe the importance and benefits of mentorship in professional development of faculty.
  2. Discuss the best practices in mentorship with a holistic approach to mentee-mentor relationship.
  3. Describe members’ experience with the mentorship program.
