Finding JOY in Work: Providing CMM and MAT for Those in Need

Webinar attendees will learn about two different pharmacy practices providing medication-assisted treatment including a family medicine residency training clinic and in the treatment environment (opioid withdrawal unit, opioid treatment program, and residential). Attendees will recognize the joy that comes from caring for individuals with substance use disorders and leave with resources to advance patient care in their own environments.

Objectives:

  1. Describe clinical pharmacy practices providing both comprehensive medication management (CMM) and medication-assisted treatment (MAT)
  2. Identify interventions all pharmacists can utilize in their clinical practices to improve care of patients with substance use disorders
