This webinar will present two innovations in caring for underserved patients that address public health concerns identified in local populations. We will also explore funding mechanisms and additional considerations for implementation of innovations in underserved populations.
Objectives:
- Identify key challenges, facilitators, and opportunities faced when providing healthcare to underserved populations in relation to clinical practice, research, and teaching
- Discuss examples of innovations used in clinical practice, research, and teaching about caring for the underserved
- Generate ideas for addressing public health concerns into their teaching, research, or practice
