Select educational sessions delivered during Pharmacy Education 2023 are eligible for continuing pharmacy education credit. Meeting attendees will have up to 45 days following Pharmacy Education 2023 to complete the accredited CE activity post-assessments and evaluations. The deadline to complete the required components for continuing education credit is Friday, September 8, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
All accredited continuing education sessions are marked as such with a universal activity number (UAN), activity type, and the number of contact hours (CEUs) in the program schedule.
The American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
CPE credits are administered via the online AACP CE Administration platform, Learning Express CE (LECE). Meeting registrants must attend the accredited continuing education activities and complete the CE post-assessment and activity evaluation on the LECE platform. A passing score of 75% is required to obtain CPE credit.
CPE credit information will be electronically transmitted to CPE Monitor upon successful completion of the CE post-assessment and evaluation. Pharmacists should log in to their NABP e-profile to access information about their completed CPE and to print a valid statement of credit if needed.
Note, it is imperative that pharmacist attendee’s NABP e-Profile ID and birthdate (in MM/DD format) are correctly entered into their LECE profile and correspond with their NABP record. Failure to ensure this information is identical in both programs will jeopardize their earning CPE credits.
If you have questions regarding CE before or after Pharmacy Education 2023, please contact Dorothy Novilus, Associate Director of Continuing Professional Development, at 703-739-2330 ext. 1027.
AACP utilizes standard procedures for providing evidence of participation in accredited continuing education activities. Prior to completing the CE session post-assessment, participants will be asked to enter an “Access Code” to ensure they have attended sessions approved for continuing education credits. Presenters will provide the Access Code at the conclusion of their presentations.
Educational presentations that are submitted to AACP will be available on the Pharmacy Education 2023 event site/mobile app by mid-July.
Yes, AACP will offer posters in the following categories (1) School posters; (2) Research and Education posters; (3) Trainee poster competition; (4) NIA Award Recipient posters; (5) Award Recipient posters; and (6) ALFP Cohort 16 posters for viewing at the live poster gallery at Pharmacy Education 2023.
Posters presented include research and education abstracts and trainee abstracts from AACP’s nine Sections (Administrative Services, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Continuing Professional Education, Drug Information and Library Sciences, Experiential Education, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacy Practice and Social and Administrative Sciences), School Posters, New Investigator Award recipients, ALFP Cohort 16, Innovations in Teaching Award recipients and Excellence in Assessment Award recipients.
Posters will be displayed live in Aurora, Colorado for all registered attendees. A link to access the poster information will be available on the meeting app.
All accepted abstracts will be published in Elsevier in August-September 2023 Issue.
Each poster board measures 4 feet high by 8 feet long. Posters should not exceed these measurements.
AACP cannot accommodate audio/visual equipment and/or computers at the poster sessions. Additionally, AACP will not provide handouts or display tables.
We are in the process of finalizing poster session times and will update attendees as soon as possible.
School Posters Theme is “Strengthening Student Success: Investing in the Future of Pharmacy.” Subcategory themes include recruitment, retention, remediation, wellness, professional identity formation and advocacy.
Given the current pharmacy landscape and pipeline challenges within education and practice, the School Poster Theme Subcommittee has recommended this theme to help move the profession forward. Investing in student success is so vital for the future of the profession and this can be met through several factors such as successful recruitment events, strategic ways to focus on retention and remediation, well-being for all, professional identity of the profession that can be taken to create an individual pharmacist identity and the role of pharmacy schools to enhance the public’s perception of pharmacy.
The Trainee Poster Judging Competition will take place virtually on CadmiumCD platform from Tuesday, June 20 to Friday, June 23. All Trainee Finalists will still be required to register for the Annual Meeting to present their posters live in Aurora, Colorado.
The Trainee Competition Winners will be announced at the Tuesday Luncheon.
Please contact Nidhi Gandhi, Interim Co-Director of the AACP Transformation Center (ATC) or Candelaria Moralez, Associate Director of Member Programs and Engagement at firstname.lastname@example.org for any questions or concerns.

As a registered AACP meeting attendee, WiFi information will be available in the AACP Registration and Help Desk Area. Please note there is a bandwidth limit, and we ask you to access only one personal device at a time and not to stream videos.
