Where will the workshop be held?

The Medical Billing 201 Workshop will be hosted virtually on Zoom via AACP Learn. 

When does the workshop begin and end?

The virtual Medical Billing 201 Workshop takes place on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. ET to 4:30 p.m. ET. During scheduled meeting times, attendees should anticipate attending presentations and/or breakout group activities until 4:30 p.m. ET. See the Institute agenda for more details.

Who should attend the workshop?

The virtual Medical Billing 201 Workshop on January 22 is designed specifically for pharmacy educators and focuses on practical strategies for teaching important topics in medical billing including how pharmacists can provided services and get paid for their work, as well as the basics of contracting and credentialing in outpatient care settings. This will prepare pharmacy educators to teach these concepts to student pharmacists, post-graduate trainees, and pharmacists. 

Can individuals attend the workshop?

AACP encourages any faculty member, administrator, or staff person to attend regardless of prior medical billing knowledge or experience. This workshop does not have team-based registration, so individuals will need to register for the workshop. Attendees should be willing to commit designated time during the workshop, as well as after, to ensure their plan is implemented. 

What is the registration cost?

You may choose to purchase the Medical Billing 101 Workshop and Medical Billing 201 Workshop Bundle, which includes access to all recordings and resources from the 101 Workshop and registration for the 201 Workshop. This bundle gives you access to the 101 Workshop materials at a 50% discount. 

 

When will registration close?

Early bird registration ends December 10, 2025 and registration closes January 12, 2026. 

How is payment for the workshop handled?

Registration for the event is on a first-come, first-served basis, individual registration. Credit card is the only form of payment method accepted.  

What is the refund and cancellation policy?

Refunds will be processed on all cancellations received in writing by January 5, 2026, and will incur a $25 administrative processing fee. Due to meeting costs, no portion of the registration will be refunded for cancellations after January 5, 2026. All refunds will be issued in the form of a credit for use towards AACP's programs, products or services with one year from the date of issue. Will any portion of the workshop be recorded?

Sessions with continuing education credits offered will be recorded. Breakout group sessions will not be recorded. The recordings will be made available on AACP Learn 4-6 weeks after the workshop is completed.

Will Continuing Education (CE) credits be available for the workshop?

CE credit is available for select sessions delivered live on January 22, 2026. More specific CE credit information will be provided via email and on the AACP Learn platform starting one week before the event.
