Pharmacist Demand Indicator (Formerly Aggregate Demand Index) – Sponsored by the Pharmacy Workforce Center (formerly the Pharmacy Manpower Project, Inc.) – A national survey regarding the demand for pharmacists that is updated quarterly. Data regarding the need for pharmacists are provided by panelists whose organizations are directly involved in hiring pharmacists. The reporting for the Pharmacist Demand Indicator (PDI) began September 2016.
The PDI was temporarily suspended in January 2019 and was replaced by the Pharmacy Demand Report (PDR) in 2020.
