The COVID-19 pandemic has enforced drastic changes in educational practices worldwide, with many colleges and universities moving towards online/distance learning. Pharmacy schools are no exception to this unprecedented circumstance and the delivery of their didactic courses, educational programs, and practical experiences all being affected by now utilizing electronic methods and online teaching. This webinar will provide an overview of the challenges, barriers, and strategies used to support students through the online learning experience.

Objectives:

  1. To discuss challenges and barriers to distance learning amongst diverse student learners (eg. abilities, educational tracks, family dynamics, ethnic/racial, and geographical backgrounds) 
  2. To identify strategies to support students through the online learning and assessment process
