Instructions for Claiming CPE Credit for Recorded Webinar:

Please go to the LECE site at: https://aacp.learningexpressce.com/ and click the “Distance” tab. Select the “I’m Just a Bill: Cannabis and Opioid Related Legislation Changes” link and click the “Purchase Now” button. Login to LECE if you are a registered user or create an account if you are a new user. Verify that your NABP e-Profile ID and birthdate are correctly entered in your LECE profile and correspond with your NABP record. Confirm your selection and enter the promotional code in the “Coupon” box. (AACP members should go to AACP Connect to obtain the promotional code). Click the “Apply Coupon” followed by the “Purchase” button to complete the transaction. If you are a non-member, please enter your payment details and click the “Purchase” button. After you have successfully registered for the program, you will be able to view the recorded webinar. There has been discussion at the state and federal level over regulations as it relates to care for the substance use disorder (SUD) patient. This webinar, presented by the SUD SIG, will provide a summary of regulations (or potential regulations) as it relates to the federal legalization of cannabis, over the counter naloxone, and the elimination of the x-waiver. Presenters will provide background information on each situation and discuss the advantages/disadvantages of the already approved or potential changes.

The American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. I’m Just a Bill: Cannabis and Opioid Related Legislation Changes (UAN: 0581-0000-23-029-L03-P and 0581-0000-23-029-H03-P) is designed as a knowledge-based CPE activity and is approved for 1-hour of continuing pharmacy education credit (0.1 CEU).  To obtain CPE credit for the live webinar, pharmacists must attend the webinar on 6/9/2023, register and complete a CE post-assessment with a passing score of 75% and an evaluation via the AACP Continuing Education Administration program, Learning Express CE (LECE). The deadline to complete the CPE requirements for the live webinar is 7/9/2023.
Pharmacists who wish to complete the webinar as a home study CE, must register, view the webinar in its entirety, and complete the post-assessment and evaluation before the CE expiration date of 6/9/2026. 

LECE will transmit the CPE credit information to the regulatory bodies at NABP and ACPE upon successful completion of the CPE requirements. Pharmacists should login to their NABP e-profile to access information about their completed CPE and to print a valid statement of credit if needed.

The webinar is being conducted through the GoToWebinar platform. Access to GoToWebinar is necessary to participate in the live version of the webinar. 

Operating System Requirements: Windows 7 - Windows 11,  Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) - macOS 12 Monterey, macOS Ventura, Linux, Google Chrome OS
Web browsers: Google Chrome (most recent 3 versions), Mozilla Firefox (most recent 3 versions). Internet: 1 Mbps or better (computer), 3G or better for mobile device and Chromebook, (WiFi recommended for VoIP audio)
