Junior Faculty Learning Series
This four-session learning series is designed to help early-career faculty build a strong foundation for long-term academic success. Through a blend of expert guidance, practical application, and peer connection, participants will develop a personalized professional development plan, create a sustainable research strategy, enhance teaching effectiveness, and build a roadmap for promotion, visibility, and wellbeing. Each session follows an Absorb–Do–Connect framework, providing actionable tools, opportunities to apply new concepts between sessions, and meaningful discussions with colleagues to foster accountability and lasting professional relationships. By the end of the series, participants will have a collection of practical resources and individualized plans to support a successful and sustainable faculty career.

Learning Series Objectives
- Develop a 1-year and 3-year Individual Development Plan (IDP) that aligns personal goals with institutional expectations for teaching, research, and service.
- Construct a practical and visual research pipeline that categorizes current projects by stage (idea, data collection, writing, submission) to enhance scholarly productivity.
- Redesign one course component (e.g., lesson, assignment, or assessment) using enhanced pedagogies to improve teaching skills.
- Create a personalized networking and wellbeing plan that will enhance professional visibility and support sustainable work-life integration in academic pharmacy.
