Digital Health Learning Series

Program Description: The Digital Health Learning Series is designed specifically for pharmacy faculty, staff, and administrators. These sessions use the Absorb–Do–Connect model to translate digital health concepts into actionable educational strategies and clinical workflows. Attendees will engage in live, case-based webinars that explore everything from remote patient monitoring to change management and institutional adoption. By participating, attendees will collaborate with peers to bridge the gap between the classroom and modern practice, identifying unique opportunities for scholarship and implementation. Importantly, this program serves as the vital head start to help prepare educators for the student pharmacist digital health competencies that the AACP Professional Affairs Committee is actively developing during the 2026–2027 academic year. Junior Faculty Learning Series

Program Description: The Junior Faculty Development Learning Series is a four- art, interactive program designed to support early-career faculty in academic pharmacy by building practical skills, application activities, and peer connection. The series covers four core areas: foundations and
alignment within academic culture, research strategy and productivity, teaching for impact and
efficiency, and career advancement, visibility, and sustainability.

Learning Objectives: 

1.    Session 1 – Foundations & Alignment: Develop a 1-year and 3-year Individual Development Plan (IDP) that aligns personal goals with institutional expectations for teaching, research, and service.
2.    Session 2 – Research Strategy & Productivity: Construct a practical and visual research pipeline that categorizes current projects by stage (idea, data collection, writing, submission) to enhance scholarly productivity.
3.    Session 3 – Teaching for Impact & Efficiency: Redesign one course component (e.g., lesson, assignment, or assessment) using enhanced pedagogies to improve teaching skills.
4.    Session 4 – Advancement, Visibility & Sustainability: Create a personalized networking and wellbeing plan that will enhance professional visibility and support sustainable work-life integration in academic pharmacy.

Implementation Science Learning Series

Program Description:   Pharmacy practice and science faculty interested in pursuing research or scholarship projects that advance healthcare practice or curricular transformation are encouraged to attend this series of live virtual sessions. The series will bring together faculty and implementation experts to increase individual competencies in implementation science and understanding of necessary institutional capacity for successful implementation.

Learning Objectives: 
1.    Explain the value of implementation research in pharmacy practice and education
2.    Identify opportunities to apply implementation science to participants’ own research and scholarship in pharmacy practice or education
3.    Develop participants’ individual competencies in implementation research in the context of pharmacy practice and education
4.    Build an inclusive implementation science community in academic pharmacy that will promote and support collaborative, community-engaged practice and research

Artificial Intelligence Learning Series

Program Description:   This program is designed to equip pharmacy faculty, staff, learners, and practitioners with both foundational and applied knowledge in the use of artificial intelligence in pharmacy education. Through the Absorb–Do–Connect pedagogy, attendees will move beyond theory into practical application, using 60-minute  interactive sessions to develop implementation strategies and collaboration opportunities. Each session balances expert insights with hands-on case application and dedicated small-group networking to foster collaboration across the academy. By participating, attendees will gain a clear roadmap for advancing AI initiatives.

Learning Objectives: 
1.    Understand the role and application of artificial intelligence tools in pharmacy education.
2.    Determine effective implementation strategies for utilizing artificial intelligence tools to support pharmacy education.
3.    Advance and connect artificial intelligence initiatives across education and practice by identifying opportunities for collaboration, implementation, and scholarship.
