Implementation Science in Practice and Education
Implementation science is a powerful tool to improve effectiveness, efficiency and quality in health care and education. Faculty, residents and fellows interested in pursuing research or scholarship projects that advance health care and curricular transformation are encouraged to attend this series of live virtual sessions. The series will bring together faculty and implementation experts to increase individual competencies in implementation science, develop understanding of the resources and capacity needed for successful implementation studies and cultivate a network of engaged implementation researchers in academic pharmacy. The learning series will incorporate the Absorb–Do–Connect model, where participants will apply new knowledge and skills to problems in practice and education through collaborative, active learning. Participants will be encouraged to connect the material to their own practice, research and scholarship, with three optional Solutions Sessions offered throughout the course focusing on participant questions and projects.
