Program and Abstract Submissions

This page provides information about the different types of presentations and announcements that members can submit for inclusion in the AACP Annual Meeting. Specific information about various submission types and their associated deadlines can be found below. AACP members will submit annual meeting programming proposals, research and education poster abstracts and special poster abstracts through the submission portals in the Cadmium Abstract Scorecard. Reviewers will also access their assignments and complete their reviews through the submission portals.

Annual Meeting Programming

60-minute Sessions, 30-minute Sessions, and 60-minute Conversation World Cafes

The submission deadline for all sessions is Monday, November 16, 2026, at 11:59 pm PST.

NEW for Pharmacy Education 2027!

Submission Criteria: Revised submission requirements that align more closely with the evaluation rubric.

Tracks: New presentation tracks, selected by submitters and developed in response to member feedback, to organize sessions around shared areas of interest. Please review the list of the nine available tracks with descriptions HERE. Presentations must align with one of the tracks.

Session Format: A streamlined program featuring only 30-minute and 60-minute sessions. Conversation World Cafés will now consist of 60 minutes of facilitated discussions on hot topics in pharmacy education. Interactive workshops will not be offered at Pharmacy Education 2027.

Active Engagement Exercises: An active-learning component beyond Q&A required only for 60-minute sessions. 30-minute sessions may be presented in a didactic format with a question-and-answer component.

Selection Process: In addition to selecting programming to sponsor at the Annual Meeting, SIGs/Sections will rank programming submissions in their areas for importance. SIGs and Sections' rankings will be shared with the Annual Meeting program committee to help guide the selection of programming that is relevant to the meeting’s audiences. Hot Topic Submission Categories: The Hot Topics Submission Categories for 2027 are: 1) Innovative Financial Revenue Streams or Revenue Diversification; 2) Maximizing Staff and Faculty Opportunities and Resources; 3) Student Admissions or Recruitment Pathways; and 4) Preparing Students for Scientist Pathways: Research Track, Dual Degree, Pharmaceutical Industry, Government Affairs, PhD Programs
