Seven appointees will help support the Journal’s peer review, strategic direction and scholarly publishing initiatives.
The American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education has announced seven new members of its Editorial Advisory Board.
The newly appointed members are:
- Ashley Castleberry, The University of Texas at Austin
- Lipika Chablani, St. John Fisher College
- Nick Fusco, University at Buffalo, The State University of New York
- Lisa Kremer, University of Otago
- Angelina Lim, Monash University
- Zach Noel, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
- Kali VanLangen, Ferris State University
As active educators and scholars engaged in the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL), Editorial Advisory Board members serve an initial three-year term and play a key role in advancing the Journal through several essential functions, including:
- Rigorous Peer Review: Performing scholarly reviews within their areas of expertise approximately quarterly to uphold the Journal’s high standards of quality and rigor.
- Strategic Initiatives: Contributing to specialized task forces and special initiatives to advance journal policies, processes, and publishing guidance.
- Collaborative Scholarship: Partnering with editors and colleagues to develop scholarly works—including editorials, commentaries, and reviews—that help shape discourse in pharmacy education.
The new members bring a broad range of perspectives, expertise and institutional representation that will strengthen the Journal’s continued advancement in pharmacy education. AJPE is grateful for their commitment to volunteering their time, leadership and expertise in service to the Journal and the academic pharmacy community.
