COVID-19 Safety

AACP is committed to providing a safe environment for attendees and staff to meet in-person during the INterim Meeting, INvigorate 2022, at the Westin Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego, Calif, our first in-person conference since Spring 2020. There will not be a virtual component in conjunction with the in-person meeting.

To maintain the health and well-being of all participants at INterim 2022, AACP is implementing the following procedures.

Vaccination

AACP will require that attendees provide proof of a full COVID-19 vaccination before they will be permitted to attend the 2022 INterim Meeting.

AACP will partner with CLEAR to facilitate our COVID-19 vaccine validation protocol onsite in San Diego. All attendees are required to complete the protocol prior to picking up their badges in the registration area. The process will take less than five minutes, and you will need to have your license and your vaccine card ready to scan into the system.

Registered attendees will receive a message from AACP as to the next steps needed to take complete this step. AACP will not have access to or keep records of your personal information. The CLEAR system will only let us know that your COVID-19 vaccination status has been verified.

If you are not fully vaccinated for COVID-19 at this time, please email meetings@aacp.org.

Onsite

Follow the 5 Ws:
  • Wear a Mask for all indoor activities
  • Wash your hands
  • Watch your distance
  • Well-being check
  • Walk with the flow

Hand sanitizer stations and hygiene kits will be available during the meeting. Housekeeping at the hotel will only be conducted upon request by the guest. Additional safety information will be provided as we get closer to the meeting.

Greeting Other Attendees

We will include color-coded lanyards in the registration area for attendees to indicate their comfort with social distance, elbow bumps, head nods, or hugs. These will be coded in Green, Yellow or Red. If an attendee does not have a visible lanyard on that indicates their comfort level, we ask that attendees ask each other before shaking hands or hugging.

Socially Distanced General and Education Session Rooms

AACP will do its best to set the education rooms to ensure at least 3 feet in between all theater seating and with six chairs at each round table.
