The 19th AACP NMA Conference is an opportunity for pharmacy faculty to engage and collaborate in the self-care and non-prescription medicine arena. Programming integrates current trends and scholarly activities in self-care relevant to education and practice.
Conference Objectives:
- Identify future challenges and opportunities in self-care and nonprescription medications related to pharmacy education, clinical practice and research.
- Identify the personal qualities that can be developed to build student and faculty resilience.
- Describe how organizations can create a culture of caring, connection, empowerment, and meaning that supports resiliency.
- Gain examples of strategies to successfully balance teaching, service and research/scholarship expectations.
