Part One of the International Webinar Series

Hosted by AACP

This webinar, free to AACP members and non-members will highlight a global education partnership among faculty from two countries to focus on their respective curricular “wish list” in advocacy and educational strategies. Faculty from three different pharmacy schools in two countries developed an international seminar for pharmacy students in South Korea. The seminar initiatives were designed to meet the need for curricular content for expanding the scope of practice and inspiring new pharmacy practice models for students (eg, pharmacists as immunizers, sports pharmacy). The speakers will also describe ongoing and future  plans for fostering reciprocal innovations in global health education.

Objectives:

  1. Identify the benefits of a global health education partnership on advancing pharmacy practice and education for each partner.
  2. Conduct a needs assessment for curricular topics and experiences through global education partnerships.
  3. Discuss the opportunities and challenges for developing a global education partnership.
