Creating Momentum in Advocacy Efforts

Hosted by the AACP Strategic Engagement Committee

The presenters in this webinar will discuss what advocacy is and why it is so important for colleges and schools of pharmacy. We will discuss the purpose of advocacy and how the aims can change based on the current issues of the profession and needs of our students. Advocacy is dynamic and needs adapt to the changing environment at the local, state and national level. We have the opportunity to be proactive in our advocacy for our institutions and the profession. This presentation will discuss how to plan your advocacy efforts and the tools available, including how you can start and grow as an advocate. Yes! You can have success in advocacy—we will discuss some examples of successes and how our students have been involved.
