Augmented Reality (AR) is predicted to become more fully adopted into many aspects of Pharmacy education in the near future. The webinar is aimed at Pharmacy educators interested in learning how to incorporate AR content within their lecture materials with a focus on the teaching of Medicinal Chemistry. The webinar will provide a step-by-step overview on several approaches to producing AR content as well as how to distribute AR to students for either in-class active learning exercises or for use in homework assignments.

Objectives:

  1. Understanding of the Software requirements and workflow needed to create molecular Augmented Reality (AR) content.
  2. Familiarization with the smartphone software landscape currently available for use in teaching by students.
  3. How to insert AR content into lecture or online materials in order to be accessed by students.
