Instructions for Claiming CPE Credit for Recorded Webinar:

Please go to the LECE site at: https://aacp.learningexpressce.com/ and click the “Distance” tab. Select the “Don't Skip This Add! Advocacy and Promotion for Yourself and Others in Academia” link and click the “Purchase Now” button. Login to LECE if you are a registered user or create an account if you are a new user. Verify that your NABP e-Profile ID and birthdate are correctly entered in your LECE profile and correspond with your NABP record. Confirm your selection and enter the promotional code in the “Coupon” box. (AACP members should go to AACP Connect to obtain the promotional code). Click the “Apply Coupon” followed by the “Purchase” button to complete the transaction. If you are a non-member, please enter your payment details and click the “Purchase” button. After you have successfully registered for the program, you will be able to view the recorded webinar. To obtain CPE credit, you must view the webinar in its entirety, complete the post-assessment, achieving a score of 75% or higher, and the evaluation. Pharmacists must complete all CPE requirements for the home study by 03/27/2027.

However, promoting these skills and experience is an area many faculty shy away from, especially in service. It is essential to be able to advocate and promote the value and contribution of these services and expertise to improve faculty well-being and career advancement. This webinar will discuss the importance of advocacy for oneself and others, challenges for doing so, and strategies for successful advocacy and sponsorship in academia.

  • Develop a plan to incorporate self-advocacy or sponsorship and promote activities as part of your role at your institution.

Advocacy and Promotion for Yourself and Others in Academia (UAN: 0581-0000-24-020-L99-P and 0581-0000-24-020-H99-P) is designed as an application-based CPE activity and is approved for 1-hour of continuing pharmacy education credit (0.1 CEU).  To obtain CPE credit for the live webinar, pharmacists must attend the webinar on 3/27/2024, register and complete a CE post-assessment with a passing score of 75% and an evaluation via the AACP Continuing Education Administration program, Learning Express CE (LECE). The deadline to complete the CPE requirements for the live webinar is 4/28/2024.
Pharmacists who wish to complete the webinar as a home study CE, must register, view the webinar in its entirety, and complete the post-assessment and evaluation before the CE expiration date of 03/27/2027. 

LECE will transmit the CPE credit information to the regulatory bodies at NABP and ACPE upon successful completion of the CPE requirements. Pharmacists should login to their NABP e-profile to access information about their completed CPE and to print a valid statement of credit if needed.

The webinar is being conducted through the GoToWebinar platform. Access to GoToWebinar is necessary to participate in the live version of the webinar.
