This webinar will review opportunities and potential barriers to offering tobacco cessation education in both the community and ambulatory care settings.

Objectives:

  • Identify how to create opportunities for community pharmacies to engage patients in tobacco cessation education
  • Identify how to address potential barriers to initiating a tobacco cessation service in community pharmacies
  • Explore the effect of a multidisciplinary approach to tobacco cessation education in ambulatory care
  • Describe the benefits of working with patients in individual versus group settings for tobacco cessation
