What, So What, Now What: Tools for Targeting Health Care Disparities

There are multiple tools available online to explore and describe health disparities and social determinants of health in geographic areas, sometimes down to the level of zip code (eg. EPA Environmental Justice Screening and Mapping Tool). This webinar will illustrate the use of several of these tools and discuss ways to incorporate their use in the classroom.

Objectives:

  1. Describe several available online tools that can be used to explore health disparities and social determinants of health
  2. Utilize online tools to explore and describe health care disparities and social determinants of health in specific geographic areas
  3. Incorporate these online tools into courses in the pharmacy school curriculum
