What is the Workshop?
The Remote AACP/Academia-CPESN Transformation (ACT) Workshop is hosted by AACP and University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy to unite and mobilize community pharmacy practice transformation nationwide. This first-of-its-kind workshop will be hosted in a remote format allowing you to actively participate from any location. Workshop organizers are utilizing a highly interactive format, which includes assigning you to a networking group ensuring you can meet others nationwide. Attendees will experience two keynote presentations, fireside chats with experts, and a series of brief panel talks with continual small group discussions throughout each day.
Where will the remote workshop be held?
The remote workshop will be hosted using Event Rebels and Zoom platforms.
Who should attend the Workshop?
Faculty, staff, CEO Deans, Experiential Education Directors, residents, fellows, and others interested in transforming community pharmacy practice are encouraged to attend.
When does the Workshop begin and end?
The Workshop begins at Noon ET on Thursday, November 12, 2020. The Workshop concludes on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. ET.
What are the two special sessions on November 11, 2020?
On Wednesday, November 11, there will be a special complimentary 2-hour session for all CEO Deans from Noon to 2:00 p.m. ET and a special complimentary 2-hour session for Experiential Education/Learning Directors from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET. Information regarding these special sessions were sent directly to the CEO Deans and Experiential Education/Learning Directors.
What is the registration cost?
Registration for the full workshop is $119 per person.
The CEO Deans special session and the Experiential Education/Learning Directors special session are complimentary, regardless of attending the full workshop.
Is the registration separate for the special sessions and the full workshop?
Yes, attendees must register for each session or workshop separately. There are three separate links available to register for the CEO Deans special session, the Experiential Education Directors special session and the full workshop.
Will any portion of the workshop be recorded?
Because of the nature of this workshop being live and interactive, there will be no recordings available for this workshop.
How is the payment for the workshop handled?
Registration for the workshop is on a first-come, first-served basis. Credit card is the only form of payment method accepted.
What is the refund and cancellation policy?
Refunds will be processed on all cancellations received in writing by November 5, 2020, excluding a $25 administrative fee. Due to meeting costs, no portion of the registration fee will be refunded for cancellations after November 5, 2020.
Will Continuing Education (CE) credits be available for the workshop?
CE credit is available for the November 11, 2020 special complimentary sessions designed for CEO Deans and Experiential Learning Directors and for select sessions delivered on November 12-13, 2020. Please refer to the final CPD activity announcement for specific CE credit information.
AACP is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
