Hosted by the Student Services SIG
The decline of pharmacy school admissions and applications has been a concern of the academy over the past decade. The Student Services SIG is looking to bring this conversation beyond the traditional AACP Admissions Workshop through a webinar format. This webinar will focus on the current state of admissions within pharmacy programs across the nation and potential approaches to improving recruitment and student success. During this session, trends in admissions data will be reviewed in higher education and pharmacy, followed by a discussion of applicant pipeline development and holistic admissions.
Objectives:
- Review recent trends in higher education admissions, compared to pharmacy using PharmCAS data.
- Identify examples of ways to incorporate holistic admissions and targeted recruitment and outreach of prospective students.
