According to the ACPE, PharmD programs are to document the breadth and depth of their curricula for the purpose of accreditation and to ensure the quality of the academic program. The primary method for doing so is to examine the curricula so as to ensure that content areas are sufficient for pharmacy doctoral level. The purpose of this webinar is to present an overview of the what, how, when, and why, associated with curriculum mapping in pharmacy education.

Objectives

  1. To describe best practices related to curriculum mapping of Pharmacy programs.
  2. To highlight challenges related to mapping and ways to overcome such challenges. 
  3. To discuss the role of stakeholders in the curriculum mapping process. 
  4. To explore the potential use of technology in facilitating curriculum mapping.
