From Patient Care and Classroom to Scholarship

Hosted by the Geriatric Pharmacy SIG

Members of the academy will share their experiences within geriatrics-based and geriatrics pharmacy education research. This webinar will allow for the sharing of ideas, explore paths taken and highlight future areas of focus for geriatrics research. The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session with the speakers.

Objectives:

  1. Describe current research opportunities in geriatrics research, including education and patient care
  2. Compare and contrast the available resources and datasets for geriatrics-based scholarship 
  3. Integrate the scholarship of teaching and learning with geriatrics education
  4. Illustrate patient oriented intervention-based research among older adults
