Webinar attendees will learn about two different pharmacy practices providing medication-assisted treatment including a family medicine residency training clinic and in the treatment environment (opioid withdrawal unit, opioid treatment program, and residential).

This session will examine how to conduct the nominations process to attract a large pool of potential candidates as well as best practice considerations when slating a ballot. Current Nominating Committee Chairs and members are strongly encouraged to attend this webinar.

A patient case with the conventional content will be presented, a treatment plan will be proposed based on the available information, then using a step wise approach, cultural and contextual elements (historical, social determinants, etc.) will be overlaid on the patient case.

This webinar will discuss why assessing student self-awareness is important. It will also provide examples of how to assess and grow a student's self-awareness starting with admissions through graduation.

Presenters from three institutions will discuss examples of how they utilize simulation to enhance self-care and nonprescription medicine education in their programs.

During this session, one college’s journey to improve faculty engagement and wellness will be shared. The webinar will discuss wellness in pharmacy through a faculty lens and input on wellness initiatives from participants will be encouraged.

The goal of this session is to share examples of innovative ways to incorporate SDOH into course work and discuss curricular assessment of these concepts.

The AACP Annual Meeting is the largest gathering of academic pharmacy administrators, faculty and staff, and each year, offers more than 100 educational programs that cut across all disciplines.

As the busy spring season transitions to the sometimes less frenetic days of summer, I look forward to seeing so many of you at Pharmacy Education 2019 in the heart of downtown Chicago. This will be the third time in my tenure as AACP Executive Vice President that we have met in the Windy City. Each time we have set a new attendance record!

I trust your holidays were warm and the new year has gotten off to an excellent start! Virtually all of us endured the bitter cold associated with the Polar Vortex in late January. The groundhog reportedly did not see his shadow on February 2^nd. I for one will welcome an early spring!
