Learning about the pediatric population is an essential component of pharmacy education. This may occur within the didactic (core, elective, and skills laboratory courses) and experiential (IPPE, APPE, IPE) portions of the curriculum and extra-curricular activities. This webinar will present innovative ways to incorporate pediatric pharmacy education into all aspects of the curriculum.

Objectives:

  • Describe innovative ways to incorporate pediatric concepts into a skills laboratory course
  • Describe how to incorporate pediatric pharmacy education into an integrated curriculum. 
  • Describe how to incorporate IPPE and APPE students from different pediatric settings into the curriculum including co-curricular and IPE events.
