This webinar will describe a sense-making approach to motivational interviewing and application of the approach to an 8 hour elearning program. Case examples will be used to illustrate how this sense-making approach works without losing any of the spirit and principles of motivational interviewing.

  1. Why a sense-making approach to motivational interviewing was developed.
  2. Apply sense-making motivational interviewing skills to cases for improving adherence and outcomes.
  3. Discuss incorporation of this sense-making approach to an elearning program for teaching pharmacy students.
