Medical Billing Virtual Workshop
The How to Teach Medical Billing Basics: A Hands-On Workshop will prepare pharmacy educators to teach the basics of medical billing to pharmacy students as part of the PharmD curriculum. This program is intended for any pharmacy faculty member, regardless of prior medical billing knowledge or experience. The virtual Medical Billing Workshop will be held November 14, 2024.

Guided Grant Writing for Pharmacy Faculty: A Program in Real Time Program Application
Please fill out this form to nominate a member of your faculty or staff to participate in Guided Grant Writing for Pharmacy Faculty: A Program in Real Time. Participants in the program should be prepared to write a research proposal over the course of the program, with a goal of submitting the proposal to their funder of choice in Fall 2025. The program will provide guidance and advice on proposal organization and writing; participants should have a scientific reader, collaborator and/or mentor ready to provide feedback on the scientific details and research methods in the proposal.
AACP also plans to host a grant workshop held in conjunction with the 2025 AACP annual meeting. Attendance at the workshop is not required for participation in this program. Registration and travel costs for the workshop are not included in the program registration. Information about registration for the workshop will be coming in spring 2025.
This form must be submitted on or before January 15, 2025.

2024-2025 Strategic Engagement Committee: Curricular Outcome Survey
In Standards 2025, ACPE has updated the advocacy outcome:
- 2.1.f Advocacy – The graduate is able to promote the best interests of patients and/or the pharmacy profession within healthcare settings and at the community, state, or national level.
With your role in Assessment and/or Curriculum, the AACP Strategic Engagement Committee is requesting your help to identify learning outcomes and assessments established at your respective schools and colleges of pharmacy to identify best practices for teaching advocacy skills to student pharmacists that could be shared in a report, resource guide or programming for AACP members. We are asking that you submit this information for the school you represent. The expected time to complete this survey is 5 minutes.
