The American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education (AJPE) Leadership is dedicated to its role in publishing high-quality and impactful research advancing pharmaceutical education.

The AJPE Leadership also remains committed to serving AACP members in advancing their ability to publish their scholarship of teaching and learning as the foundation for advancing pharmaceutical education.

We are requesting your input on the future of the Journal and its role in publishing high-quality research. Please answer the following questions, excluding issues and concerns related to Journal operations.

Needs Assessment ~ Staff Engagement in AACP

The American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) is interested in learning more about how it can support and engage staff members at colleges of pharmacy. Your input is valuable in shaping future initiatives. This survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.

This survey is intended to be completed by individuals who identify as “staff” or non-faculty as their primary employment designation by their colleges or schools of pharmacy. This definition includes all professional staff, support staff or other staff categorization utilized by the survey-taker’s institution.

2026 SIG Election Nomination Form

Please complete the information below for each nominee per the process outlined in your SIG's Standing Rules of Procedure.

Per the AACP Bylaws, the nominee must be an active member of AACP to be eligible to run. The following guidelines define an active member:

  • Active individual membership shall be restricted to administrators, faculty, staff, and librarians of regular and associate institutional members.
  • Active individual members shall have the right to serve as delegates to the House of Delegates in accordance with their institution’s membership status and the right to hold elective office. Active individual members shall elect the Association’s officers as provided in Article XI.
  • Active individual members shall also have the right to vote to elect officers of their respective Councils and Academic Sections and to vote on any matter submitted to them for a vote by the House of Delegates pursuant to Article IX of these Bylaws.

Nominations are due on Friday, February 20, 2026.

2026 SIG Cabinet Administrative Board Nomination Form

If you would like to submit a nomination for the SIG Cabinet Administrative Board Chair-elect, please fill out the form below. Please include the past officer's role and the year they completed their term of service (i.e., Curriculum SIG Immediate Past Chair 2023; Pediatric Pharmacy Secretary of Knowledge Management 2024). 

Eligible members can self-nominate or be nominated by another member. *If you are submitting a nomination on behalf of another member, please contact them to collect the required materials.

Research and Education Poster Abstracts Evaluation Criteria

The AACP Council of Sections (COS) which consists of the nine AACP Sections’ officers and an administrative board, is responsible for implementing the poster abstract review process. Abstracts are reviewed by the Section to which the abstract is submitted.

Each poster abstract will be reviewed by three reviewers who will score based on the evaluation criteria below. The scores will be averaged, and the Trainee Competition finalists will be identified based on the acceptance margin determined by the poster abstract review committee.
