Pharmacy Education 2025 Call for School Poster Abstracts

School Poster Abstracts

AACP member institutions are invited to submit one poster abstract per member institution to be displayed during the 2025 Annual Meeting. School Posters do not go through the review process, so once the abstract has been verified to meet the theme and subcategories, acceptance emails will be sent in April.

The School Poster Theme for 2025 is “Showcasing Your School’s Commitment to Excellence in Higher Education” and subthemes are:

House of Delegates

The AACP House of Delegates (HOD) is the democratic policy-setting body of the Association. Each Regular Institutional Member has two delegates and two alternates appointed or elected annually as either the Administrative Delegate or the Faculty Delegate, respectively. The House of Delegates meets annually at two sessions during the AACP Annual Meeting to conduct its business; an asynchronous Virtual House of Delegates Session may also be convened, typically in January or February.

Strategic Engagement Committee: Advocacy Activities Survey

AACP Resource

The AACP Strategic Engagement Committee (SEC) maintains a central database where members from across the academy can search to get assistance in developing new advocacy activities for their institutions.  The SEC continues to collect information on institutional advocacy activities, particularly within their home state and those including student pharmacists, using the developed survey instrument. Unique identifiers will be removed from all published information. The SEC requests members not to include personal advocacy practices that are not supported and or provided by their school/college of pharmacy (e.g. participation in a state organization as a member of that organization, not through their school/college).

If members have more than one advocacy practice, they would like to report, the SEC requests a separate submission for each practice. There is no limit to how many times a member may submit their advocacy practices using the survey link.

A sample submission can be found here. If you have questions, please reach out to SEC Liaison, Olunife Akinmolayan. Thank you for your support with this important project.
