- Page 2: One-pager (single-space talking/bullet points) for the Petitioner arguments supporting (“for”) the debate issue – see below.
- Page 3: One-pager (single-space talking/bullet points) for the Respondent's arguments opposing (“against") the debate issue – see below.
- Page 4: References page: Provide a list of at least 15 references supporting all the talking points listed in pages 2 and 3.

Description of Project and Topic
Submission Topic:
Whether or not Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs) are beneficial?
Petitioner (for): Patient Assistance Programs are beneficial and effective for patients and for the health care system.
Respondent: Patient Assistance Programs are not beneficial to patients and not only ineffective, but harmful to the health care system.
Application Deadline: February 13, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. HST
2026 Mock Trial Competition
Four (4) school/college teams will be selected as semi-finalists competing virtually in semi-final mock trial rounds. Semi-final rounds will take place virtually on dates in the week of March 9-13, 2026 (to be announced after semi-finalist teams are identified).
