Student and Preceptor Well-Being in Experiential Education

Hosted by the Experiential Education Section. 

During this program, we will explore the stresses of transitioning from classroom learning to experiential learning and share interventions/tools by examining the expectations, perceptions and situational stresses than can arise in IPPEs, APPEs and Residency rotations. 

Objectives:

  1. Apply/modify/build on at least one of the interventions/tools presented to increase both student and practitioner well-being in their own experiential learning environment. 
  2. Assess the effectiveness of at least one of the interventions/tools presented to increase student and preceptor well-being in their own experiential learning environment.
  3. Share at least one of the interventions/tools with their colleagues.
