AACP Resource

This survey is being distributed to all directors of graduate programs across colleges and schools of pharmacy.  Please submit a separate response for each graduate program within the pharmacy school you direct or are responsible for.

The purpose of the survey is to:

  1. Establish baseline data for graduate program recruitment efforts and compare current year statistics.
  2. Assess the factors that drive recruitment and how those change over time.

All results will remain confidential and only be reported in aggregate. Results will be shared with all participating programs.

Please complete the survey by August 31, 2025

Please reach out to Dorothy Farrell (dfarrell@aacp.org) if you have any questions or concerns.

Grant Terminations: Submission Form

AACP Resource

To track the impact of funding cuts and policy changes at federal research agencies, AACP is gathering information on grant terminations and changes in scope at colleges and schools of pharmacy. AACP invites faculty and staff at colleges and schools of pharmacy to let us know about terminated, delayed and reduced grants and the impact of the changes on pharmacy faculty, staff, students and schools.

Please complete this form separately for each grant terminated, delayed, reduced in scope, or otherwise affected.

AACP will use the submitted information to raise awareness of the scope of grant terminations and reductions at pharmacy schools and to communicate the effects of grant terminations and reductions to the pharmacy profession, policymakers and the broader public. The survey includes an opportunity to opt out of AACP using submitted information in its advocacy or communications effort, or to discuss with AACP how submitted information may be used.

Bachelor in Pharmaceutical Sciences Program Information

AACP Resource

This survey is intended to collect information about Bachelor of Science (BS) or Arts (BA) programs housed in colleges and schools of pharmacy, including BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences (BSPS) programs. The information collected will help quantify and document the emergence and characteristics of these programs, which serve as important pipelines for the biomedical workforce and a valuable learner pool for pharmacy schools.

If there are more than one BS or BA programs in your college or school of pharmacy, please submit a separate response for each program.

For the purpose of this survey, a BS or BA program is a four-year degree program grounded in the basic sciences that educates learners in specialized coursework and topics in the pharmaceutical sciences, including pharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry, drug design, formulation and delivery, pharmacology and toxicology, regulatory science and health outcomes. This survey is intended to gather information about BS and BA programs that are administered by the college or school of pharmacy, including both stand-alone programs and combined BS or BA/PharmD programs. Other BS or BA programs that are administered through the university or another college or school within the university should not be included.

If there are any questions about the survey or the eligibility of your BS program for inclusion in the survey, please contact Johnnie Early at johnnie.early@famu.edu. The results of this survey will be shared as a poster or presentation at the 2026 American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) annual meeting.

Statement on Implications of H.R.1 on Pharmacy Education

AACP, with other organizations, acknowledges the recent passage of H.R.1, the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act," by the U.S. House of Representatives. While long-term fiscal sustainability in our federal government is clearly a priority, we are deeply concerned that several provisions related to higher education financing will have substantial negative consequences on the healthcare workforce pipeline, particularly on pharmacy.
